| These are ranged prices. They're there to give you a general idea of how much your commission will cost, and what the minimum and maximum is I will charge for a commission like that. If your character or idea is simple and won't give me a hard time, you'll get the minimum. The harder it gets, the more expensive it will be. Usually though, when the character is average, I'll go for something in between. I will tell you the final price when you've approved of the first sketch that I will send you, to make sure you'll like the product you'll be getting. With each commission type, you can ask me to make it either simple or complex. How complex a picture is usually doesn't depend on the matter of details for me, but how defined you want the shading and linework to be and if a ton of colors should be used. Sketch: 6-9 € These can either be in pencil or ballpoint. If you have a favorite, you can tell me, otherwise I'll just pick one and surprise you with a result.   Quick sketches like these will be the cheaper ones   More time consuming sketches like these will be the more expensive ones. Depends on how defined you want the shading to be and how much background needs to be filled. --- Line art: 10 € Ballpoint or black ink. Again, you can tell me if you have a favorite, otherwise I'll pick one.   --- Ink: 11-15 € Art pieces that go beyond line art, done in either black inking pens or with brush and ink (preferably black, as I don't own many colors. But I could add some color if you want.)    --- Traditional color (watercolor/colored pencil): 13-16 € I usually work with watercolor. It's what I'm good at.     --- Marker piece: 7-13 € Can be very simple, could also be complicated. I'd prefer no large backgrounds for these.   --- Digital color: 7-15 € I don't do digital sketches and/or line art. If it's digital, it's got to be a finished piece.    --- ACEO/ATC: trade I don't ask payment for ACEO's. I only trade them. --- Of course, commission styles can be combined. You can ask me for an inked piece, colored digitally, or with markers, like here:  Ask me about a combination you want and I'll make up a custom price for you. They won't be different much from the ones you see here. A few things about these: - Payment in paypal please - Credit to me will be given when making use of the image - You may not use your commissions for profit or commercial uses. - You may tell me a preferred size, but I won't promise I stick to it. I am the one who decides how big it is going to be in the end (I'll most likely listen to your preferences, though). What I can draw: - I am good at beasts, creatures, monsters etc. - Fantasy scenes and nature-like backgrounds are what I draw most of the time. - OC-characters, as long as they're not too rainbow-y or make me gag. - I wouldn't recommend myself for this, but if you really really want me to draw something futuristic looking, with machines, lots of gears, sci-fi stuff and/or mecha, I will TRY but I don't know if I'll SUCCEED. Be warned. If you have something else you want me to draw, by all means mention it. I will try, but I can't promise I'll be good at it X) I will not draw: - anything that goes against the rules of deviantart - ref sheets - comic pages - cars The process - You tell me what you want in a NOTE. - I'll present to you a quick sketch of what I came up with (unless it was a quick-sketch commission. If it is, it will be the final result and you don't get to change anything.) - You tell me if you like it. If you don't, you can tell me what to change. When you're happy, I'll define how much it will cost exactly. - You pay me. - I'll finish the commission. - (If you want it shipped to you, you pay for it. Not me.) |

Time for a new not-so-weekly weekly feature. This time I want to turn the spotlights on an artist with a whole arsenal of lovely traditional art. You guys know I'm a sucker for traditional art. So I wanted to cast a little light on Armed with colored pencils, watercolors and a fairly creative mind, this deviant will not fail to amaze you, I promise. I, for one, loved her watercolor work and the use of rainbow colors in fitting works of fantasy. If you are a fan of any kind of fantasy-art, I'd advice to definitely check this artist out.    Usually, I'm not all that jumpy for fairies and human-like fantasy creatures. But I must say, I find hers very interesting to view and love the way she pictures them. They keep that sense of mystery in almost all of her works.    Go check her out. |
