You sit in your room, working your very hardest on the colors of a picture you just made. It takes you 5 hours to finish it and when it is finally done and you are happy with the result, you save it in "My pictures" and put it up on deviantart.
Pretty basic, right?
But what if you just happened to pass by another computerscreen and out of curiousity looked at your own pictures on that particular screen and you discover, much to your grief, that the exact same picture looks nothing like it does on your own screen?!?
This fate has befallen me. It seems that every single thing I produce and have produced on my computer up until now has different colors on other computers. And I mean, EnTIrelY different. Brown colors change into green and orange becomes yellow, that sort of thing. It wouldn't be so bad if it were only the pictures here in my Devart gallery, but sadly that's not the only damage. The buffer I had been drawing for my to-be-hosted-in-the-near-future comic looks horrible on other computers. I spent hours on that and now I have to start all over again, since my computer creates illusions of colors on my screen. Like skin-color. It turned green. All their faces turned green. I think crying would have been the appropiate action when I first saw that. I just stood there, staring dumb-founded at the screen though.
If anyone knows a solution to all of this, please tell me I'm a computer n00b and that this can be fixed. I'd rather be a computer n00b then see that all the work and effort I put in the colors of my pictures has been for nothing.
And thus, I have decided to quit putting colored pictures up here, until I have fixed this problem or have bought a new computer.
...
sorry
