UPDATE TIME
Oh dear, an update, oh my, oh dear, what's happening?

The reason for the lack of updates was exam week. I studied my butt off and I don't even know if I did splendid or horrible on either of my tests :/ But they're both over now. I'll be on vacation next week from monday 'till thursday, but expect more activity from me soon ^^ I have the time now, it's time to start drawing again.

My last exam was today and I came home fairly late in the afternoon. I didn't have anything big to upload, but I really wanted to let people know I hadn't died. So I scribbled these dragonlings, to fill up my stash a bit. You might remember this little guy: [link]
They're like that ^^ They're very small, made with markers and I will hand them out to my commissioners. I pick one randomly and mail them along with the finished commission.

My commissions are open, by the way. Just sayin'

I love how these turned out =) This is mainly how I like to color dragons: in warm earth tones. I think if they ever existed, they would have earthy colors =)

pencil sketch, black fineliner line art, promarker colors =) And when the colors were finished, I put another layer of pencil shading on top of it, so I have to be careful not to smudge it when picking them up.

Hey, you're right. I bet they'd look good as little figurines too ^^ But I'm not much of a sculptor. So I guess that won't happen X)
